Winner of my giveaway and some project pics

Happy Friday friends!  Congratulations to Nicki for winning my giveaway!

I wanted to share some fun photos of a few projects I have been working on at home (because our school is still not finished - sigh...).

These are for sharpened and unsharpened pencils.  The little containers are from the Target Dollar Spot.

I made this little guy from a pinterest idea.  I used my dishwasher detergent box to make him.  His name is Mr. Munch and Welcome to Room 36 has an awesome song to go with a sound muncher.

Here are my 2 new products on TPT.  The first on is called Rascally Raccons.  It includes rhyming clue cards to lead your students on a tour of your school and a craftivity for only $2.

The next one is called ABC Bump.  It's a bump game to match lowercase letters to uppercase letters.  There are also bonus roll and record pages to match the dice in the game.

I will give both of these to the first 5 people to leave me a comment with their email address.

While we're on the subject of TPT, I am participating in the mega back to school sale on Sunday and Monday.

The next few pics are non-school related, but I just wanted to share them.  I am hosting a baby shower for a dear friend on Saturday morning.  The theme is pirates.

This is the bunting I made.

This little treasure box has nail polish that I tied rafia onto.  These are the prizes for the shower games.

So I didn't make this little guy, but I grabbed three of them at the dollar spot to add to the decorations.

This is the start of a lot of crazy, good fun!  Think of me this weekend and pray for my sanity.  I have the shower, then a wedding rehearsal, then lots of family time, a bachelorette party, and a wedding to be in.  It's all wonderful stuff and I am beyond honored to be a part of such precious memories for people I love, but I am tired thinking about it all.

Enjoy your weekend and let's hope that my next post is about moving into my new school.  :)

Made it Monday and 2 Awesome Giveaways!

Hi peeps!  I am linking up with Tara at 4th Grade Frolics for my first ever Made it Monday.

Here are some of my little creations:

This first creation is my birthday cupcakes, which originated from this pin.

Here are my bathroom passes, which came from this pin.

Here is my Guided Reading binder and my Substitute binder.

I have shared these two before, but thought I would throw them into the mix just for fun.

My Word Wall header from this pin, which came from Kindertrips awesome blog.

Here is my teacher toolbox.  I am not sure of the original pin because there are so many out there.

Okay, and last is the one I need some advice on.  I made my first burlap sign.  It's a little bee for my bumble bee classroom.  It originated from this pin.

Now, I did not have any thick black ribbon, so I tied on the smaller ribbon, but I am thinking I should add a big bow.  What do you think?  I am also thinking of adding a little smile for the bee.  Do you think it will look better with a littler smile?  I would love any advice on this one.

I also wanted to share 2 fabulous giveaways:

Lori at Teaching with Love and Laughter is having am Easy Speak Microphone giveaway.  Click the pic below to enter on her blog.

Jennifer at Herding Cats in Kindergarten is having a gift card for Donors Choose giveaway.  If you don't know what Donors Choose is, it's a site where public school teachers can request materials and random people can donate to your project.  It's AMAZING!  I have had 16 projects funded in less than two years.  Here is my Donors Choose site.

Look what I made {and found}!

Hi peeps!  I am super excited to share my little Pinterest inspired supply organizer that I made last night.

Here is the pin I found it on from Rowdy in Room 300 {a fellow Texas blogger}.

I also went to the Dollar Tree yesterday and found these goodies:

I plan on using these to give to my kiddos who can count to 100.  They will get to be a part of the 100 club.  I found the 100 club idea on Pinterest {WHAT!} and thought these little trophies would be exciting for my cuties.

I made labels last night on Vistaprint to go on the trophies.

I also found these for birthdays.  I attach these balloons to the straws as a gift for my cuties.  They also take home the birthday bag.  You can read more about my birthday bag on my website.

I also found these miniature bowling sets.  I posted about our Sight Word Bowling game here.  I thought these little $1 goodies would be great to have on hand to replace any lost pins or balls.

Well, I am of to get ready for the

I can't wait to make some new friends tonight.

Happy Saturday!!

Show and Tell!

Hi peeps!  I hope your week is off to a fabulous start.  I suddenly felt the desire to post about some crafty projects I have created this year.

This is my marker holder I created from a 25 cent lazy Susan from a yard sale and empty mandarin orange cans.  I painted the lazy Susan and then covered the cans with paper and these labels. Last I glued the cans on with liquid nails (from Lowe's).

Here are my bumble bee stools that I created from Ikea trash cans.  I bought the plain black ones for $2.99 each, turned them over, and painted every other row yellow with plastic paint.

They stay in my art area.  Aren't they "BEE"utiful!
(I have a bumble bee theme.  Click here to view my bee room.)

Here is my clipboard that I use for Daily 5 check in.  I made it from an old clipboard that was being tossed out.  I Modge Podges the cute craft paper onto the front and added some "bee"dazzle with stickers and ribbon.

Here is my last little creation.  I created it based on this Pinterest idea.  I use it as an incentive for good behavior.  Whenever I spot someone making good choices I ask them to sign the Super Star Board.

At the end of the week I roll these little dice that are labeled  to match the header and side numbers.  The kiddos whose names match the coordinates get a special prize.

I hope you enjoyed my show and tell of my recent crafty projects.  I was wondering if anyone could be so kind and tell me how to link my blog to my blog name when I leave comments on other blogs?  Sigh, I just really would like to know.
