Popcorn Words Freebie and Fun!

Hi friends!  I have felt so bad about not being able to post a lot of goodies lately.  I have been making tons of fun stuff, but my camera is on the fritz - yikes!  I did make this little freebie for you to download on my TPT store.

This little freebie includes the directions and words to make a sight word bottle.  You will also get the recording sheet and labels for the bottles.

Here is a picture of mine.  I made them last summer and snapped the pic a year ago for my website, so the label is different than the one in the pack.

I also made a new game called POP! A Sight Word Recognition Game.  This little game is a fun way for students to practice sight words in a whole group.

I am also nearing 400 followers!  I am super excited about that.  I never thought my blog would even have 10 followers.  I am planning a giveaway with some fabulous bloggy buddies.  You won't want to miss it.  I am hoping to be at 400 by the end of July, so cross your fingers for a giveaway at the end of the month.

One last thing - I mentioned earlier that I am moving campuses.  Well at the end of the school year I packed all of my stuff up and had to move it into a storage unit.  It was a lot!  Anyways, I am anxiously waiting to get the news that the building is finished, but no news yet.  I am getting so nervous.  I am usually going back into the building this time of year to prepare in a classroom that is already basically set up.  Is anyone else feeling anxious about not getting in to your building yet?  There are so many bloggers posting about classroom projects and wish I was one of them. Sigh...

  2. We can't get in either, & it is VERY frustrating. I just want to cut & paste photos of all the cute things teachers are doing NOW but I won't have time to do. As we all know, it takes SOOOO long to do even one bulletin board, let alone get all the walls, tables, centers ready. We used to be able to go in & out all summer. Now our custodians are very controlling & just tell the principal when we can get in....usually about a week or week & a half before meet & greet. (AND we'll get a reminder from our principal that the rooms must be done by meet & greet.) I love all you guys & don't want to upset you by being negative, but it just is sooo frustrating. I want to just do bare minimum to "show 'em", but I couldn't do that to my students, families, nor myself. I'd love to her how others deal with this issue. Thanks.
